Why does Google Assistant not work when my Galaxy watch 5 is connected to LTE?

Google Assistant works fine when I'm connected to my Fold3, but not on my Watch5 connected to my cell tower (provider). Please advise, thank you. (Error messages is: no internet connection, even though my watch5 phone app and browser work fine.)
