Why does shipping take so long?

Greetings,

When I buy something from Amazon, I often receive the item the next day. I am unclear why, when I buy through the Samsung site, it takes a month to receive a common item.

Depends where the seller is and where item is shipping from

1. Seller is Samsung. I ordered directly from Samsung.

2. I would think a company as large as Samsung would have more than one warehouse, and that a warehouse near my populous area would exist.

3. You can ship from almost anywhere in the world and arrive in less than a month. I live in the U.S.

4. Email from Samsung indicates the item hasn't even shipped yet. Do they have to mine for the material to build my watch first?

There is a problem. I am trying to make Samsung aware of it.

Also, amazon has warehouses everywhere so they can deliver products faster, they have their own deliver services and you pay yearly fee to Amazon

I usually receive orders directly from samsung in 2 or 3 days

I ordered a Watch8 on February 26.  Email from Samsung says I will receive it March 20.

Preorders for S26 were live for two days already. That is probably why they are out of stock: people bought them with their preorders for the discount.
