I just got the Galaxy Watch Active2 and I set it up and paired with my Note 10+. Performed all updates. But there's no Health Monitor app I can find in the Galaxy store. What is the problem? I am going to just return the watch if the features are not working like they should.

Samsung "Health" is available, but "Health Monitor" is NOT! 2 different apps. I have same problem. Annoying.

Where are you from? If you are in the US then you can contact Samsung and they will help you set this up. If you live in any other country then you wont have ECG and BP because Samsung Helath Monitor is NOT approved. I got the update to 5.5.0.1 but I didnt get the update. Im in Sweden. I just side loaded the apps on my phone and watch. Voila, it works now 🙂

I had the same problem yesterday, 1/14/21, on my brand new Active Watch 2.  I finally called the specialty Samsung support line for ECG issues and was told that my watch 2 was not compatible!!!!  So frustrating. Apparantly you have to have a watch with an "SM" # where the 5th digit is a "U" to be compatible (this is found under "about watch" and then "software".  This super sweet girl was the official Samsung rep - she verified my phone and watch and confirmed that it was my watch that was not compatible and recommended I return it!  I researched the SM #'s on Samsung's website as well as Best Buy, and the only watches I could find with a "u" as the 5th digit were the LTE models; I don't want this version, and I don't want to spend another $150 to get it.

BUT, I found a youtube video by TechnoProz that walked me through how to download the Health Monitor app for the Active 2 in a pretty easy way, and now I am able to use the ECG function! Yay!  No watch change, just a different way to get the Health Monitor App onto my phone and watch 2.  But, it does not seem to offer the blood pressure monitoring, unfortunately.  So, not perfect, but this is still super helpful!

I have the same problem, I have a Galaxy Watch 3, and can't find the Samsung Health Monitor app or any related feature on the watch.
