remote connection to phone not working - galaxy watch active 2

Galaxy Watch


I recently bought a Galaxy watch active 2 LTE which in using with my Huawei Mate 20 pro.

They work well together but as my provider here in Sweden  only support E-sim activation via a Galaxy phone I did a work around and used my sim in my wife's S20 Ultra, setup esim and everything looked fine. Put the simcard back in my Mate and paired the watch to it. 

Everything looks to still be setup and as it should but when I disconnect Bluetooth it doesn't work with cellular connection. 

It first says something like stand-alone - not working and then switching to Stand-alone - emergency call only.

It shows in wear app that I have a plan for the watch, and that it's connected and that my phone also is linked to the plan. 

Anyone have any ideas?
