How do I receive pictures from messages it says I have to open it on my phone do I need to change settings somewhere

I can't find any settings for that. I've always received the pictures on my watch. Do you have a Samsung phone? Are you using the preloaded message app?

yea I have a samsung phone and if someone sends me a picture it says open with phone and no message app jisy connected it to my phone
