I downloaded the USB C update from the Galaxy Store and plugged in the headphones. Nothing has happened.

Have you attempted to restart your phone after installing the update?

Do you have an alternate wired USB-C audio device that you can test this out on? Does it function properly, or is this happening with all wired connections?

No other USB C audio devices I'm afraid.

Try this. Disconnect the headphones, turn off the phone, plug in the headphones, then turn the phone back on. Do they work?

Tried turning off, plugging in phones, and turning back on. No change. They work in that they play sounds and music. Still no update.

Oh, I see. This is about an update! I thought by "nothing happened" you meant your headphones weren't working lol. šŸ˜… So which update are you referring to exactly? The new firmware update? I just heard about this myself from other Ambassadors. I haven't received it either. I would argue it's still rolling out in stages.

Yes. The new firmware update. I downloaded it, but it doesn't apply when I plug in the headphones.

What is the name of the headphones, this is paramount to know why it isn't updating. Are they a full-fledged headphone or are they a wired, wireless or true wireless earbuds? Because the USB-C updates are meant for Samsung's own USB-C wired earbuds by AKG, if what you have is a headphone then you would need the AKG headphone app to update them, assuming there's one available.
