Hello sdmb, We understand having the contact show as a number instead of the name is bothersome.
Are all contacts saved to the same location? (Google, Microsoft, Samsung Cloud, or locally on the phone)
Is the contact's number a different format than other contacts?
Have you tried resetting the Network settings? Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset Network Settings (This will remove all Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections from the phone.)
