I have to send in my Galaxy Z Flip 5G in to get the screen repaired. Directions say to "Unlock Google Device Protection" how do I do that?
Also, does it have to have the SIM card installed? I'd like to use it in my dpare phone.

Thanks for any info.

Google device protection is somewhat built-in. The service center will need access to your phone. They just need you to make sure there are no screen locks on the phone. To fully remove Google Device Protection, you would need to reset your phone and not set it up again with your account. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083965/

I recommend not sending your SIM. By using it in the spare phone, the SIM card will stay active.
