Hotspot doesn't work

I bought a new z fold 3 and the Hotspot won't work. My old phone cost me $100 and was 4 years old and it worked. **bleep**?!?

As far as I know, it is. From what I've seen, the options are pretty straightforward. I don't think that's the problem, but maybe I'm missing something.

Are there error messages showing on a device attempting to connect to hotspot?

Or error messages on the hotspot device when others attempt to connect ?

When u enable and search device it will show on the other device that my Hotspot shows up but when I click on the ps5 to connect it says unable on the ps5 n closes settings on my phone

Hotspot is a carrier thing. Contact your carrier
