Not able to hear text tones on my Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 5G

So for some reason I just noticed when I get a text message I don't hear the text ringtone I went through the texting app settings, the phone settings and nothing works this never happened to me, maybe the update has some bugs does anyone knows how to fix this it's annoying honestly... I have the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 5G

No still nothing, I feel like factory reseting my phone but sometimes that doesn't help cause once u backup the phone it it stays with the backup

which carrier? and what's the current software version? 

have you checked the Messages app settings? 

Messages > App info > Notifications > Notification categories > Press the Incoming messages (actual words, not the toggle) > Make sure 'Alert' is selected or select the desired Sound
