Notification Voice While Closed with Headphones

Only while my Z flip phone is closed and I have earbuds connected, if I get a text I hear a voice say "messages" even though my notifications are silent. I can't find anything in the settings to turn this off.

Go to earbud settings, under galaxy wearable. Then click "read notifications aloud" then turn it off. 🫡
