Unable to transfer content, regardless of method

Just got my new flip 5 . have not been able to transfer my music and photos to the new phone. Tries smart switch, bot wired and wifi, tried connecting to my pc but the phone is not recognized by win11. even tried smart switch on my pc as well but no luck. i have posted on the reddit samsung support group but it seems no one really uses that. so here i am... have also tried multiple cables bot from a hub and directly connected to pc. i have usb debuging on  as well as developer options. open to any and all suggestions before i return the phone

That is weird. I just got my Z Fold 5 yesterday and transferred all data, including photos, using smart switch and wifi from a Galaxy S22+ with no problem at all.

For photos... on your old phone (samsung) download terabox... then make an account and everything.. then wait for your photos to upload.... then get it on your new phone and the photos should come....

If you are switching from iphone.. it's a little trickier... get terabox on your iPhone. Then do all that.. then go on your computer and get terabox. And sign in. Then click select all, and share by email or whatever. Then on your phone, click the link and then it should give you the option to upload them to either your phone or the terabox app... I recently got a samsung from iPhone so that's how I am so edumacated 😄 please accept my answer

Do you have a Google account? If so google photos can be transferred from an apple device to an android just by logging into your account

What carrier are you using? You may have problems restoring if you use Verizon.

You could try using a flash drive or sd card+adapter connected to the usb port of the phone and manually transport. The My Files app lets you use android like a computer so you select what to transfer, move to, and then the destination.
