So far I have no lag whatsoever. Few things make sure you don't have battery saver active. Using device care to clear ram is helpful. If you still have it on the device itself and it's not a slow wifi connection or service connection I would do a manufacturer reset of your phone. It's a pain but if you can't get the device to perform like it should it will be worth it.
After a system update it is highly recommended to wipe the cache partition and proceed to "repair apps" (both options found in Recovery Mode). A factory reset shouldn't be necessary. Glad to hear all seems to be working again though! 🙂
