I have a Z Flip 3 which is now 11 months old. It was bought as a backup phone and has only ever been used a handful of times for text messages. It has an appalling battery life so I have tested as follows:
1) Phone SWITCHED OFF: Charged to 100%, then once a day switched on for about 30 seconds to check for battery %. Battery charge after 10 days has declined to 75% . The rate of decrease is linear.
1) Phone SWITCHED ON: Charged to 100%, then once a day (without any other use) noted the battery %. Battery charge has decreased to 0% in 4 days. The rate of decrease is linear.
I understand from other posts that the battery charge life of Z Flip 3 phones is poor, but my question is, should a battery which is essentially OFF decrease by 25% in 10 days?
