Yup, Mac USB charging  worked for me. I'm Samsung's biggest fan, but Boo!  Samsung, BOO! Get your battery junk figured out!

Mac Usb charger for me. I'm Samsungs biggest fan, but they need to get their battery junk figure it out. Boo Samsung boo!

I tried laptop pc different charger and nothing I guess im calling Samsung tomorrow

Same problem. Wont charge or turn on. So the next thing I tried is removing and reincerting my SD card. Wala...it started charging and working. Hope this doesn't happen ever time I try and use the Gear 360 2017.

Don't know if Samsung can do a firmware update to the unit but seems to be a OS/firmware peoblem.

 

Samsung;;;you have a problem!

I did finally contact Samsung support. Their only suggestion was to try a different charger (which I did, even though I knew the charger was good), so I returned the 360. Its replacement should be arriving soon. Hopefully the last one was just a lemon.
