How to set date -Gear 360 2017

My images and video on the Gear 360 appear in the app gallery with a month/day/year, which is always wrong, and is not seeming to follow any particular pattern, but I can’t find anywhere to actually set the date for the device. I use it with an iphone, so maybe this is a compatibility issue? Can anyone help?

The date and time changes depending on what device you have connected to the camera.

I don’t typically connect anything to it while recording, onlybwhen transferring pics and video, so it’s time/date stamping images based on something internal...  if I connect to my iphone via WiFi before capturing images, would that get the right date connected to everything I take after that?

Have you tried downloading the Samsung Gear 360 app on your iPhone and connecting your Gear 360 prior to recording your video?
