My S8 plus will not connect to my Gears S3. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Galaxy Wear app, cleared the cache, and restarted both devices. The phone sees the S3 but will not connect.

I'm having the same problem with my Galaxy S9+. I've cleared the cache. I've connected via bluetooth and tapping the app on the phone, which will show "connecting" but never connects.
Appreciate any suggestions
Mine ended up being an internal battery failure and bluetooth failure. I had to send it in to be repaired.
