Can anyone explain how to rollback to 184.108.40.206? XDA forums are not helpful at all... My watch dies in 12 hours even with the screen, all sensors turned off and the watch itself in airplane mode. This is not acceptable!
I do hope the moderators of this board are feeding this back to Samsung, since Samsung Support is in denial to regular Joe customers.
Still I doubt the moderators are able or want to assist the consumer with this widely reported issue.
Doing so would help the credibility of this board no end.
I recently updated to 220.127.116.11 and the battery charge lasted less than a day
I did a reset on the S3
I deleted and re-installed the Gear S app on my iPhone
I deleted and re-installed Samsung Health app on my iPhone
I set the weather app location to off
I have bluetooth, WiFi and location set to on
Since then the battery is lasting 4 days per charge (roughly 1% usage per hour)
I’m a happy man!

WIFI + BT + GPS ON ALL THE TIME AND 1%/HOUR? NOT POSSIBLE WITH CURRENT BATTERY!. MAYBE WITH A PRIUS BATTERY!
I just checked again and: Bluetooth on, WiFi on, Location on, Weather app location not set.
Battery charged 100% on 11 March at 22h00 and now at 21h00 on 13 March, still 49% remaining.
So, call me a liar but I’m still a happy man!
No name calling necessary but GPS alone (on the watch not GPS through phone) depletes 300mAH in about 12 Hours with otherwise normal use of the watch. Gear S3 battery is 380mAH. I challange any Samsung official to prove otherwise.
Confirmed. It´s true. The Weather app is the culprit for the battery drain. Must be left off. Alt/Bar not auto updating too.
Also you may try to reinstall the S Health app on phone/gear. Wipe cache from gear. Wipe cache from S Health on phone.
Update: the battery consumation is 2% per hour, not 1% as just he said before.
