my gear s3 frontier after the last update, stopped working the heart rate meter, wake up gesture, step counter, basically the sensors are not working, how to solve?

Hello, just to verify, does the green light on the back of the device still appears to be blinking?

same for me. bought in the US. India service center says you need to change mother board.

This issue started right after the Tizen update. 

 

@samsung978531you are any ways too late to fix this issue. Atleast stop cheating people asking them to change their motherboard.

@BambangSetiawan We would need to go through some more troubleshooting to determine if the issue is hardware related or not. May I ask, what type of phone is your watch paired to? Also, are you receiving any error messages when you try to check things that use the sensors, like heart rate?

Add me to the list. My watch has been a paperweight since Tizen 3 rolled out. went from 2.5 days battery life to 8-13 hours. Now, software updates that said they would fix the battery broke my sensors and vibration ability. So now it doesnt even notify me of notificaitons. Might as well be a regular $100 watch. Atleast then it would tell time for more than 8-13 hours out of the day, which is about all this gear s3 is good for without sensors.

 

Watch just gets worse and worse by the month with these updates. Causing more problems. Wish I could go back to the factory firmware it shipped with, atleast everything worked then.

 

Between this issue, my 2 times recalled note 7, my s7e and my wife's s7e getting pink lines down the screen which kept us from being able to trade-in for a new phone, and her gear s2 having rediculous screen flicker and draining battery if AOD is turned on, I am losing ALL trust in Samsung quality.
