Ive had my Geat Sport for two years . However, today Aug 10th. 2020.... i noticed my steps in Health App are all messed up. Appear to be double counting with my phone...or something.
Ive paused step count on Mobile..... and then turned on All devices counting, but still not right.
What change did you make? Why cannot separate steps on Gear Sport watch

Does resetting the Gear Sport help if the above does not?
1. In the Wearable app navigate to the Settings and select General.
2. Now select the Reset option and tap check mark to confirm.
3. Wait until the watch is reset to the factory version.
