Whenever I try to charge my Gear fit 2 pro, my watch will display a message saying that the battery is overheating even though the watch isn't even warm to the touch.

Thank you for reaching out. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smartwatch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues.

Note: Results and symptoms may vary depending on the device and model being used. Some instructions will not apply to certain devices.

Give this link a try for tip and trick to Keep your Galaxy device at its normal operating temperature: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/

I would also recommend resetting your device. Give this link a try for step to reset your Gear Fit 2 Pro: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/

If you still continue to experience these symptoms a service repair would be recommended. Can you please provide me with the following information in a private message: http://bit.ly/2JH2rq2

@SamsungAdam The thing is though, when it says it's overheating, all it's been doing before it send the message was sitting next to the charger because it has died at 1% and now refuses to charge, and, as I said in the main post, it couldn't be overheating because it feels the same temperature as everything else
