Just wondering if anyone else has this issue with having itchy ears when using the Galaxy earbuds?
I seriously can't wear them for 30 min because of the itch! They are horrible to use. I clean my ears almost every day so it's not that.
I've tried all of the bud sizes to see if that would help even though they didn't fit comfortably.
I've come to the conclusion that it might be in the weight distibution. I've tried Apple's Airpods (which don't fit comfortably) and those didn't have the same issue. I think that since the weight hangs down from your ears, (like in normal earphones) they don't become itchy like the Galaxy earbuds.
That is just my theory... Does anyone else have the same problem and is there a solution to this? For me they are almost unusable.
same problem here. not sure what to do, I've used buds like this before but not sure why these are giving me such issue. it really feels like it's the material but im not sure which part of it is causing the reaction. it's like inside the ear so maybe it's the metal where the speaker is? really can't wait for comply to make tips!
It doesn't have to do with anything about the earphones. This is a sensation that a lot of people suffer from. When you put something that blocks your ear holes can cause this sensation. Not only that but when you have the ear canal plugged the vibrations from the sound will make it worse.. go get yourself some external headphones rather than ones that plug right into your ear canal. My neighbor is a i ear and nose specialist. I was having this exact same problem and this is what he told me. You know how you said you clean your ears everyday? He told me that the more ear wax in my ear the less I will feel this sensation. So maybe try not cleaning your ears for several days. But yeah just get some earphones that don't plug into your ear canal and the problem will go away just like it did for me
I'm sorry but this is simply not true as I have not ever had this problem with any of my other in-ear headphones that I would keep in for hours and hours, even sleep in (hello shure se215)
I have this exact issue! I posted about it at the end of May but it seems my post somehow got deleted.. I have used earbuds my whole life and have never had this issue. I think it is definitely an allergic reaction to the material the buds are made from. Don't know if you will see this as you posted back in June, but discontinue use immediately as I was stubborn and caused my ears to have a semi-serious allergic reaction (redness, swelling, itching even after not wearing them, broken skin).
I haven't had this problem either with any other wired or wireless bluetooth devices except when I started to use the Samsung Galaxy Buds . This is definitely related to the material(s) used to make the cushions. I also have Apples new Beats By Dre PowerBeats Pro & never experienced this either. Samsung seriously needs to rethink of what they are using to make these cushions. I think it would be good if everyone uses the same material as Apple Air Pods are made of. As well as Apple's Beats By Dre PowerBeats Pro. I know that some people my find it to be a bit uncomfortable without the cushions but those can be given with the product or purchased later from the same manufacturer or other vendors for those who wish to use them & dont have this problem.
Not entirely sure its Samsung. i bought a pair of Galaxy Buds back in March and used them till October, when i lost them. never had itchy ears. And now i have the PowerBeats Pro i purchased 3 days ago and I'm here searching for a solution to my itchy ears
