Currently, the "at rest" calories are updated throughout the day rather than just being there all day. I have found this discouraging because it tells me I still need to burn 800 calories (for example) but 500 of those will be body function calories, which means I actually only need to burn 300. I won't completely "earn" those other 500 "at rest" calories until midnight, even though it will be the same amount every day because that is the number of calories my body burns just by functioning. I input my food in the morning, so my calorie deficit number is messed up all day long.
Is there an option to change this within the app? If not, is there a way to recommend this change?
