Uber companion for samsung Gear

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and a Samsung Galaxy Gear S3. I am having trouble with the Uber companion for Samsung Gear. Eveytime i try to log in it says, "the log in information is incorrect". However, it doesnt redirect so that i can correct the log in information. I am stuck on the "get started" page.

Have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app and try logging in again?

 

Do you experience issues logging in to other apps?

 

Have you attempted to reach out to the app developers of this specific app to see if they can provide any further assistance?

I have tried the clear data & cache method

I have tried uninstall/reinstall

I have even done a full factory reset

Nothing works.

same here. s10 with watch active 2 LTE. Incorrect login into gear app.

Can I ask which exact Gear app you are attempting to connect to? Its possible the incorrect one could be downloaded. The one you're looking for should be a Yellow/Orange icon labeled Wear and the name is "Galaxy Wearable (Samsung Gear)".
