What is this icon?

I have the brand new Galaxy Fit. This icon shows up when the screen is lit. What is it? There is suppose to be a battery icon from what I read in the manual, but it is suppose to show how charged the battery is. This icon is empty but my watch battery is at 65%. It must be something else?

It's the date the month is on top and X on the bottom cuz mine does it too

What? It's not the date. Its just a rectangle. As you can see from my photo, the date is at the bottom.

It looks like a wearable. Maybe it means something is connected to your device?

I would guess that it indicates that it lost the Bluetooth connection with a paired device (like your phone).

It is a connection indicator that it's paired to your device.
