Whether you're heading to bed for the night or waking up in the morning, SmartThings will be there to help. Lights and curtains respond as you drift off, and in the morning allow sunshine back in to gently wake you. Night after night, SmartThings will closely monitor your environment, helping create a space for deep and comfortable sleep.
Create a peaceful bedtime atmosphere
SmartThings creates your own optimal sleeping environment. When you fall asleep, the lights in your bedroom are turned off naturally, the curtains are closed, and a comfortable atmosphere is created. The air conditioner and air purifier also start operating quietly when you sleep to help you sleep comfortably. When you wear a Galaxy Watch or a Galaxy Ring, it automatically recognizes when you fall asleep, so all these changes happen seamlessly.
Wake up refreshed
SmartThings gently brings the morning inside and helps you wake up more well-rested. It can part the curtains to let the sun in, turn on the TV and even flip it to your favorite morning news channel.
Temperature and humidity control help optimize sleep
Temperature, humidity, CO₂ concentration and brightness can all affect how well you sleep. Check out the information provided by [Sleep environment report] in SmartThings on how your sleep environment was last night and if any improvements can be made to make your sleep more comfortable.
* Automated actions executed by bedtime detection can be set in [Create routines].
* When you set "Sleep environment report" to wear the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, go to sleep for one night to generate data related to your sleep patterns, and set your sleep conditions.
* To use sleep automation, you must agree to the “Bedtime and wake-up” item in the “Connect Health App” settings and the “Process sleep information to execute routines” item in the “Consent to sensitive information collection & use” settings.
* The time needed to detect the sleep and wake times with a Galaxy Wearable may vary depending on the environment.
