Just got nice new crystal HD 8000, connect antenna but broadcast TV is nowhere on the menu? I fired dish, want my locals

I turned router off and got it to scan channels and watched a few minutes, put router back on and TV stayed and let me view guide and move up and down a few channels. Thank you, I found another post in forum that gave me idea
