Has anyone had any luck fixing or getting Samsung to fix issues with the black line through the tv?  This is the second one I've had an issue with. I thought the first was a fluke...but this is ridiculous.  TV was purchased 2 and a half years ago, so definitely not the amazing brand they're touted as being.

My sincerest apologies for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. If the lines appear on all sources and during the picture test then service is required.

Howdy,
I also have had ongoing problems with the same black vertical lines. My resolution has been to jiggle the HDMI wire behind the TV. I only last night tried another input with some Pre instaled filter that came with the TV and it took care of the problem. We have a TVIO DVR.

Thanks Fergi!  Ours is happening on all inputs, and streaming channels. It's also on the picture self-diag, so it seems like a panel issue.  5 minutes after I posted it, it went from one vertical line to the entire left half of the screen.  Just really frustrating that a $900 tv can't last 3 years.

Thanks, but I'm really not interested in dropping $500 on a new screen on a unit that I bought not that long ago...that will probably just have the same issue another 2 years down the road.  This is obviously a wide spread issue.
