HD and UHD TVsSo part of screen is black, seems it is an LED problem? I’m told it will cost more to repair it than is worth and better to buy a new TV by suggested Samsung repair person. It is around two years old and I can’t believe this! Another private repair person agrees it is a led problem, and it is too hard to remove a 70” screen. What to do before I go and buy another TV?!! I do not want to spend a $1000 every two years for a TV. It is used at the most for a few hours a day if even that much.

HD and UHD TVsI can definitely understand your concern here. Let's try to alleviate some of the stress by trying this link:
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01202526/
If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case by case basis please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
