I was trying to stream movies from my computer (iMac - late model) using Apple TV 4K and airplay. I can mirror the computer and play YouTube Videos, but cannot stream what is obviously protected movies using HDCP 2.1 or 2.2
I think it may be a protection problem. I think I must have an HDMI 2.0 cable, which I believe I am using, and the TV must be both HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.1 compatible. I cannot find out if the TV is or not. If it isn't, the ends the game right there. If it is, maybe I am not using the proper cable. The specs on the TV, which I believe is a 2018 model simply list 4 HDMI ports without any specs on them. Does anyone know the answer to this?
