58" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)
UN58TU7000FXZA
This TV is out of warranty and presents an HDMI problem.
I replaced both boards and thought I had solved it.
The problem returned.
The symptom is that after some time, the TV stops fully booting and just cycles in the booting process.
If you leave the tv off for a long time (not just a few minutes), it starts working again.
As far as I can tell, this is a serious design or software problem. Perhaps something is overheating in the HDMI chip. I thought it could be a problem with ground, so I place both my computer and the TV in the same outlet.
Sometimes the symptom also includes a corruption of the image displayed on the computer. That happens if I place the computer in suspended mode. It doesn't make sense since when the computer is in suspended mode, the TV is turned off.
I am visually impaired and use this TV as a monitor.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.
