HD and UHD TVsSamsung UN49MU6290 TV: Paramount+ app 'starts', but loads to a blank screen. TV does report that it is 'connected to the internet', and all other streaming apps on the TV (e.g. Disney+, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video) work without issue.
P+ app has been 'updated'; removed and reinstalled, and TV has been restarted (physically power-cycled) several times; P+ app still will not load.
P+ can be accessed and played via web browser on any PC in the same house without issue.
TV is at latest available firmware version.
TV's DNS setting is pointed to Google DNS (8.8.8.8); using a different DNS provider (e.g. Cloudflare, or my ISP (Spectrum)) does not resolve the issue.

HD and UHD TVsI’m having the same problem. I even reset the smart hub, blowing away all my settings, without fixing the issue. I opened a ticket with Samsung & Paramount, no help.

HD and UHD TVsSame problem for me on my UN75MU8OODFXZA. The first Samsung Tech support person told me that my model year Tv was the first to have the Paramount Plus App, and sent me a link to a specific firmware update that was supposed to fix the issue. Well the Tv did not recognize the files on the flash drive so I called back and the next assistant said the firmware already on my Tv was newer than the version I had been sent in the link. He offered no solution to the problem or whether there would even be one. I then emailed Paramount Plus but they stopped communicating about it without even explaining anything. I had started a trial subscription that I cancelled after 3 days because the App would not start at all. Since I had not actually ever been charged on my credit card they apparently were not even willing to look into it. So much for watching Yellowstone 1883. This Tv is not even 4 years old for me and I am seeing the beginnings of obsolescence.

HD and UHD TVsI just found out - on another post on this site - that I could start a 7 day trial subscription for Paramount + within the Amazon Prime App which I am a member of and does work on my Tv. So far it is working fine and I am watching Yellowstone 1883 without a problem.

HD and UHD TVsThank you.
I also received a reply from Paramount this afternoon, stating that they know that they're having issues with their app on Samsung TVs, and are working on a solution.

HD and UHD TVsSeriously? There are posts of people having this problem since at least July of 2021. Presumably both Samsung and Paramount+ are using industry standard protocols. How is it that you still can't get this fixed?? I can watch other content on Paramount+, just not Star Trek: SNW - which is basically the only reason I signed up for Paramount+. When will I be able to watch this? Season 5?

HD and UHD TVsTo be honest, between this issue, the lack of an app for CW TV (I like The Flash!), and some other little oddities.... I ended up just dropping $70 on a Roku Ultra.
It might seem silly, but:
The UI is nicer
there are more apps
Things JustWork.
Again, the UI is nicer. Wife and kid like it better, too.
Just saying.....
