TV model UN65MU630D doesn't see AV Signal

Hi,

 

The TV keeps on saying "No Signal" when plugging a DVD player trough the AV Component connections. It knows that something is connected, as an icon "Component" is showing among the sources.

- I am using a Red/White/Yellow connector turned into jack, plugged in teh Yellow jack behind the TV.

- I have two DVD players, neither of which is detected

- Adding a Blue/Red connection through the other jack does not improve the detetction.

- The software is updated to the latest version.

The TV keeps showing "No Signal" connect or click on Source. To no effect. I have tried about any connection possibilities or website information.

Thank you for any advice you could suggest.

the dvd player does not have an hdmi output.

And I have checked the DVD player against another TV - it works perfectly.

No issue with internet connection, image or sound.

I have done the factory reset.

The problem still persists.

When using the AV connection, is there anything connected to the Component In input? Please go to Settings>Support>Contact Samsung and provide the current software version.

The Software version is 1270.

I have used the yellow jack plug, and connected it to the Yellow/white/red of teh DVD player.

I also tried using the other jack to add the other two colors, to no benefit.

Have you tried a different AV wire? Do you have any other AV devices that can be tried?
