The optical cable from my sound bar won't broadcast sound when I'm on streaming venues such as Netflix, YouTube, etc.  The sound works on stations from my cable box (connected to the TV via HDMI) however when I stream from the smart TV apps there is NO sound.  I was told the Multi-Output Audio setting should be turned on however mine is grayed out and it won't let me enable it.

I need help to find out how to enable the sound bar to play audio from streamed TV channels

Multi audio output is for when you are using Bluetooth, how do you have your soundbar connected to the TV? Are you passing any devices through the soundbar?
