HD and UHD TVsWe have spent weeks on an endless warranty refund loop with countless Samsung customer service reps getting transferred and put on hold. They have a 3 minute time limit for holds but they just come back and put you back on hold repeatedly for 3 minute intervals. We have spoken with Ray, Elias, Jake, Karl, Oberto, and on and on.....
We reported the defect (dead pixels) near the first of January and through sending photos of the defect and the serial numbers and our receipts it was determined that repair or replacement was not an option. Since the TV is still well under warranty we were told we'd receive a refund. Every rep uses the same language. "It looks like your refund was rejected. We are so sorry. This shouldn't have happened. I have corrected the mistake. You will be receiving a text from us within 24-48 business hours with a link for you to sign the terms and conditions. And then a refund will be posted to your account." Verbatim. Every time. We wait another couple of business days or up to a week and call back and we hear the EXACT SAME THING. Every time. The last time I called Ray said, "Your refund was rejected three times." OMG. It's under WARRANTY. SAMSUNG WARRANTY.
This is incredibly frustrating. Samsung's warranty is simply a personal invitation to customer service transfers and delays. Resolution is always 24-48 hours away. Forever.
Beware. Your time and your money are disposable to Samsung. And apparently so are their appliances.
