HD and UHD TVsHello Samsung, I have one of your $1700 65” TVs that I bought at Costco in 2015. I know, that’s 6 years ago. Who would expect a TV to last 6 years. Me that’s who. I have white spots on my TV screen caused by the LED defusers falling off. I’d like to trade this TV in and receive some credit for it.
I guess this Samsung community is for Samsung owners to use to help themselves. I’ve seen the YouTube videos on how to fix my problem using a quality adhesive. But I didn’t spend $1700 so I could work on my TV. I don’t want to work on it, I want a new TV.
Anybody here ever get credit for a out of warranty Samsung TV?
Thanks for listening. I feel a little better.

HD and UHD TVsI understand how this may be frustrating and want to see if this is occurring on all sources and during the picture test this will require service, you have a couple of options based on your warranty.
- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.
