TV's should last long. This is several years old, but never thought I had to throw this piece of garbage in the trash sooner than expected. Look at all the white spots. Paid $1200 for this when we bought it. We're buying a new TV this week. Definitely not going to be a Samsung, that's for sure.

HD and UHD TVs
Those are dead/ dying pixels. At least on led tvs that I have personally seen it just seems to be a fact of life (at least on the older models) roughly 6+ years or older
