samsung un55hu6830 hdmi ports not working

Hi, 

I have the un55hu6830 TV and the HDMI ports on it does not work anymore. Before only HDMI2/DVI would work for quite a while then after sometime it also didn't work. Ive tried to update firmware on the TV as suggested by some but that didn't help. even tried unplugging it for a while and replugging it back in to see if that would work, but nothing displays on the HDMI. ive tried different devices like my laptop,desktop, switch, xbox and a few others to rule out if its just the device or the TV and none of them is displaying on the TV. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you also tried replacing the HDMI cable for the TV? It is possible the cable is not recognizing the port.

yeah i've tried different HDMI cables too, unless theres a specific kind i should be looking for?
