When something doesn't work the way it is SUPPOSED to work, it isn't helpful to go through the steps that are supposed to work. Even Google doesn't seem to detect when you are saying that something doesn't work. It just repeats what doesn't work. Can'y either Google or people recognize the little phrase; "doesn't work"  or "doesn't work the way instructions say it shoud."

I hav tried several times to connect. Where do I get IP/GATEWAY DNS. settings. I hav a screen that states that r not correct. All blanks are zeros

The IP/GATEWAY DNS settings should be located in the Network Settings within the settings of the player. Have you completed all of the troubleshooting steps in the following link? http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01110565/

I have tried the step by step several times. Still will not connect. Shows network with full bars but will not connect. Have the same unit in other bedroom and it connects half the time

@userVX6AhGd9sS If you have tried all of the troubleshooting listed in this thread, service repairs would be recommended. Could you provide your model and serial number via private message to see if you qualify for any accommodations?

I had mine working for about a week, came home one night and now it won't connect.  I have tried all the of the suggested fixes several times and still nothing.  Is this a defect of this model?  Any other suggestions?  I use it to watch Netflix

I just bought this model and have spent last 2 hours trying to get it to connect to wifi no luck, will not recommend Samsung to anyone after this

Please make sure that your router is in at least 15 feet from your player, if the signal is too far away from the unit other devices could potential be interfering with the signal and causing intermittent connectivity symptoms.

I'm not sure if this is just my player or not, but mine won't connect to Wi-Fi unless a disc is in the tray.  I had taken the disc out to update software, only to find my wifi wouldn't connect any more. Previously I'd been able to watch YouTube videos etc so I thought I'd broken something in the configuration, but after hours of trying on multiple days to figure out how to fix it, I tried putting the disc back in and it could connect again just like that.
