I own a 2020 Samsung Q80T and have it hooked to a Sonos Arc soundbar via e-ARC. While certain TV apps pass sound through as advertised, unfortunately it appears that the HBO Max app is limited and cannot send the Dolby Digital and Atmos signals despite the fact that there is new content mastered with this audio. Does anyone else have this problem or a fix? Based on research the issue seems to be with an older version of the HBO Max app that is available on the Q80T. When will this app be updated?
