My soundbar recently began to have issues with the volume selection. As soon as I connect the speaker to my Samsung TV using One-Connect the volume automatically goes to the max and cant be controlled. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?
I'm sorry to hear that, have you made sure the soundbar is up to date? Also, how do you have the soundbar connected?
Thank you for keeping me updated!
Possible a button is stuck or you need an update on the soundbar?
The thread here has a number of potential torubleshooting steps: https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/samsung-soundbar-randomly-changes-audio-levels/
I would say based off your description this may need Samsung support help:
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/warranty/ and use the guide there for getting support.

I found a simple yet effective fix that works on many soundbar models. Simply watch the YouTube video and all is revealed within 150secs. Be aware that the fix means your manual volume controls will be disabled: I cant recall using them once. The remote will function as normal.
Big thanks to all of you who took time to reply.
