I think I've narrowed the problem down to the feed from streaming services. Even down to the specific channels, the lower budget ones have a far more frequent drop out rate of the subwoofer and rears. I have this issue with Netflix, YouTube tv, Hulu, and sometimes with Disney Plus. This is on Apple TV and Xbox. Never with watching discs on the Xbox though.
Can anyone check to determine if this is consistent with their set up as well?
This problem is across too many forums without a solution for us to not figure this out.
I just experienced a problem with Dobly Atmos not working with my sound bar. I watched a Netflix movie using Apple TV and when I switched to my cable feed, the audio portion of the cable feed died. What I found out was when Atmos was the audio format playing the audio cut out from the video. I had a good picture, but no video. If I changed the audio format to surround sound, the audio played without any troubles. So now it appears that I cannot play any movies using the Dobly Atmos format. Why? What is going on Samsung?
