Been owning the Samsung Q990F ever since it was released. And until recently I started testing personally the SpaceFit Sound PRO feature, while I noticed a cool change of immersion and spatial effects precision and a slight bass boost increased. I also noticed a slight degradation on very fine high frequencies details, for some reason it seems like SpaceFit Sound PRO is making dialogue slightly less clear and a bit more muddy to the point that there are some words that I canโ€™t quite pick up compared to when the feature is OFF which lets more of the raw performance of the speakers and sharpness of the tweeters is more present.

Iโ€™m running the latest firmware version: 1310

the loss quality is present on all sound modes. I personally run Adaptive Sound as my preferred one and this is where the difference is more noticeable. With the feature OFF the dialogue clarity is pristine, you can pick up all the words in a dialogue precisely. However, when the SpaceFit Sound PRO is turned ON while it relatively remains clear, thereโ€™s a slight loss in the absolute highs and fine details. Somehow it feels like audio becomes a bit compressed for some sort of goal, while in some areas it excels like in spatial accuracy and immersion, in areas like dialogue/vocals clarity and sharpness which is one of the pillar elements of any Movie, TV Show or General content is slightly reduced/compressed.

Really hope this gets viewed by any people in charge of firmware updates for these Soundbars as I couldnโ€™t find any other place to drop this feedback. Also, this soundbar hasnโ€™t gotten a firmware update in a good while. So, perhaps this could potentially be part of a bug most people hasnโ€™t noticed yet. I tend to use the soundbar with default speaker levels 0 and without any bass enhancement or other features that can slightly mask the reference tuning these soundbars bring out of the box which is why I couldโ€™ve picked the slight degradation/change in raw audio quality/clarity.
