Home TheaterI just got this hooked up and had to buy a thumb drive to come here and download the apparent update, unzipped the file as directed. Then plugged it into the soundbar as directed. But the lights did not flash or anything as the directions suggested. Instead the sound paused for a second and then resumed!
I tried to come here to chat with an agent but they cannot answer a simple question of did that mean it updated or not? Since I saw no flashing lights as the directions suggested I do not know if it updated or not? Suggested I call their phone number.
Shouldn't have to call to get that simple answer.
Would like to know. Thanks...

Home TheaterThe thumb drive needs to be Fat (I've had trouble in the past with Fat32) and you need to remove any periods in the name besides the file type.

Home TheaterGreat. I just spent money on a thumb drive that appears to be fat 32.
The end of the file name says 1103.0 are you saying to remove that . ?
Thanks.

Home TheaterYou can reformat your Thumb drive using a desktop/chromebook/ possibly even phone.
And yes - I had to rename all periods (except for the last one for the extension) to underscores.
