Home TheaterI have recently updated my home theater system. It includes a Samsung QN55Q60DAF tv, Samsung HW-Q910D soundbar and Sony UBP-X700M Ultra HD Blu-Ray/DVD Player. The soundbar is connected to the tv via the HDMI cable that came with the soundbar. It is connected from the HDMI e ARC out on the soundbar to the HDMI e ARC in on the tv. The Blu-Ray player is connected to the soundbar via the HDMI cable that came with the Blu-Ray player. It is connected from the HDMI out on the player to the HDMI in on the soundbar.
Per the instructions for the Sony player, I have set the Digital Audio Output of the player to PCM.
I played a DVD with Dolby Surround/5.1 Surround/Dolby Digital, but I am not getting the surround sound like I got from my old system. Can someone please assist me with all the settings I need to make on the soundbar and player to get true surround sound from my DVD's and older Blu-Ray discs. Thank you.
