UPDATE: I have no sound even through the eArc port. Sound only comes from the TV

So I usually have my PC hooked up to HDMI port 1 on my Q990D and use eArc going to my S90D. This has been working fine for months until today. My PC no longer sees the soundbar.

I tried to plug the hdmi cable from my pc into the TV and I get a picture, but I can't get any sound out of the sound bar. If I turn on QSymphony I can hear parts of the audio from the TV but nothing from the sound bar. 

I did a factory reset on the sound bar and still had the same issue. Any ideas? 

My blueray player doesn't seem to get picked up by the sound bar either. I get no image when I go to external devices on my S90D and then to hdmi 2 on the sound bar.

I have just experienced similar - no sound from TV based apps like netflix, no screen or sound on PC. Changed the HDMI cables over and didnt fix the issue either. Connected PC directly to TV which worked so that wasnt the issue. Pulled the power plug out of the sound bar for a few minutes and plugged back in an viola it was back.

Wondering if an update has been pushed which has caused this issue recently - happened twice in two days, since Thursday

I think it's due to a recent update too. I've tried powering mine on and off and factory resetting it many times with no luck. I'm planning on putting in a service request once I know I'll have time to be home, but for now I was able to get it to work using an optical cable and running my hdmi connections to the TV. Maybe they'll push out another update by the time I have availability.

This just started happening to me out of nowhere too. No sound options on TV work, unplugging HDMI cable does not work. The only solution is to completely unplug the soundbar and plug it back it. It's infuriating.

I also checked my software version via Smart Things on my Samsung phone and it looks like I have 1021.2 installed.

That's also the one I'm on. I wonder why mine doesn't get fixed when I unplug it and plug it back in like everyone else.

I'd advise not to hold the down button on the remote to update the other speakers, maybe that made it worse for me.

This is related to the new 1021.2 update. Same happened to me eARC no longer works only WIFI since the update was applied. Hopefully they patch this soon so I can revert to using eARC.

My eARC also stopped working. The video signal on HDMI 1 is not being transmitted to the TV. Disconnecting the power for a few minutes helps, but after some time the problem returns and eARC stops working again

Same exact problem for me too. Wifi connection works, eARC stopped working.
