I have a Samsung S60D soundbar connected via wifi to a Samsung Q80C TV and use Q symphony. Randomly the soundbar will drop the sound and it will switch back to the TV speakers. If I turn the soundbar off and back on I can connect to Q symphony again, but this keeps happening. TV and soundbar firmware are both up to date. This just started 24 hours ago. Looking for any advise as its getting quite annoying.

Sometimes, inference can cause this behavior when connected via wifi/Bluetooth. Little while back, my soundbar started dropping out and came to find out it was interference. Also, the soundbar can drop out suddenly if it gets overheated.

Any specific type of interference?

If it got overheated, would it come back on less than a minute later? What would cause it to overheat?

It could be different factors. My interference was coming from my UPS (power suppy) somehow. Bluetooth is more prone to interference. Sorry I couldn't help you much.
