I have had this tv in my living room for years. The WiFi will not connect. When searching for Wifi the discovery screen will populate for .5 seconds then disappear and will close the WiFi search. I have hit the factory reset button/function and it still continues. My WiFi is perfect on all other devices around the TV.
I downloaded the firmware updates but noticed they were the same version on the TV when I loaded the USB Thumbdrive. The TV, thus, did not recognize any necessary updates.
I have a plethora of Samsung TV's, this has been a problem for a long time and I am finally reaching out to see if there is a solution.
Hello! What is the current software version on the device? Have you tried unplugging the television, modem and router for 5 minutes and then trying again? Are you able to try an Ethernet connection? Do you have a dual band router(2.4GHz and 5 GHz)?
