Since the update, the soundbar is unresponsive and can't be reset.

 

Seems like quite a few people with the issue

Have the same. Need to unplug and reset in order work again. Can't switch between tv audio and sound bar which was breeze before firmware update. Taking this to Samsung nominated repair shop

To anyone still experiencing this (it's now 8/19/25), my device seemed frozen. It was stuck on volume 10, remote unresponsive except for power on/off. Could not even factory reset.

As per one user above, I simply unplugged the device while it was powered on. Plugged back in 10 seconds later, pressed power on the remote and it works. I hope this was just a hiccup for my device, but I wanted to share in case anyone else gets frustrated.

I contacted Samsung support and was told that my soundbar would be fixed thanks to a one time only out of warranty favor. So I shipped back my unit and waited. While waiting, I got a text from Samsung for an eCoupon for $25. I just received my soundbar back and to my dismay the same issues were present. When I contacted Samsung, they said that by accepting the eCoupon I "agreed" to just have my unit shipped back to me as is. No where in the text did it say anything about that. I am irrate after spending $1000+ on a soundbar that is now not working. You have to do better Samsung or else you have lost a customer for life.

Same issue here on a Q930F. Why is resetting it marked as a solution? It can't be reset.
