This is my issue:

I have the following setup up in my living room:

-Samsung QN90C TV (QN75QN90CAFXZA)
-Samsung Q990C soundbar (HW-Q990C/ZA)

They're connected to my PC with the following components:

- MSI Pro X670-P WIFI motherboard
- Nvidia GTX 4090 GPU
- AMD RYZEN 9 7950X3D CPU
- Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus 2 TB
- (2/64GB) G.Skill Flare X5 32GB DDR5-5200MT/s
- ID-COOLING FROSTFLOW X 240 LITE
- Realtek ALC4080 AUDIO PROCESSOR
(AMD EXPO*)(Audio boost 5*)

The audio/video chain is:
PC to TV (via HDMI) to Soundbar (via HDMI e-ARC)

On my computer, the audio device is labeled QCQ90 (NVIDIA High Definition Audio). In the property settings for QCQ90, under Supported Formats, it states the following:

-Max Number of Channels: 6
-HDCP: Supported
-Bit Depths: 16-bit, 24-bit
-Sample Rates: 32.0kHz, 44.1kHz, 48.0kHz, 96.0kHz, 192.0kHz
-Encoded Formats: Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital

And in the Speaker Setup configuration, the following options are available currently: Stereo, Quadruphonic, Surround, 5.1 Surround, 5.1 Surround, and Dolby Atmos for Home Theater.

This has to be a EDID issue with the TV incorrectly communicating the incorrect information to the PC, because my Soundbar is 11.4.1, which is above and beyond 7.1 compatible. So it should be showing a max of 11 channels, or at least 7.1 until 11+ are started to be used in the production of movies/series/games. And encoded formats should be displaying these additional formats as well as DTS(DTS:X, DTS-HD MA).

I paid y'all almost $6000 for this TV and Soundbar and it's ridiculous that I can't utilize it to watch and listen to things in the best formats that sold me on purchasing these devices from y'all. So I need someone to contact me ASAP on how exactly y'all plan on making this right. And it's not a computer issue either, because I can plug my PC directly into the Soundbar and it displays everything correctly, confirming it is an issue with the incorrect TV EDID information. And y'all chose to make this soundbar with only 4K 60hz HDMI ports outside of e-ARC, so that audio chain (PC to Soundbar to TV) is not an option.
